IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING CASCADE R HELMETS
As many of you already know, the Cascade R helmet was recently de-certified by NOCSAE. The helmet manufacturer and NOCSAE have come up with a solution to re-certify the helmets. It requires all helmets be shipped back to Cascade where they will modify the helmet and install a new certifcation sticker.
THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE R MODEL (CPX-R, PRO7, CPV etc are all good)
If you're not sure which helmet your son has, look on the corner of the visor. If it just has an R, then that is the one that is recalled.
There is no cost for the modification or the shipping.
To return your helmet, go to cascadelacrosse.com or use the link below and follow the instructions.
The predicted turnaround time is two weeks or so, maybe more with the holidays.
If you have any questions, call or email me.
