My my My my
Mission Statement

Welcome to Kingwood Youth Lacrosse!

Our mission is to teach our players to Honor the Game through "ROOTS".
Respect for: Rules, Opponents, Officials, Teammates, Self.

Kingwood Lacrosse program offers something for every boy and girl interested in playing lacrosse.  Kingwood’s boys programs run from K-8 grade and the girls programs run 1st-8th grade (3-8 in the fall). Kingwood Lacrosse is under the direction of Chris Arnold, Kingwood High School’s Varsity Coach.

As many of you already know, the Cascade R helmet was recently de-certified by NOCSAE. The helmet manufacturer and NOCSAE have come up with a solution to re-certify the helmets. It requires all helmets be shipped back to Cascade where they will modify the helmet and install a new certifcation sticker.

If you're not sure which helmet your son has, look on the corner of the visor. If it just has an R, then that is the one that is recalled.

There is no cost for the modification or the shipping.

To return your helmet, go to or use the link below and follow the instructions.

The predicted turnaround time is two weeks or so, maybe more with the holidays.

If you have any questions, call or email me.

Uniform Sizing for the Spring 2015 Season

We will be sizing all Spring Season players for uniforms at WinterClinic.

Kingwood Lacrosse has new uniforms for the 2015 season and all new and returning players will need to stop by the WinterClinic on Dec 9, or 11 to be sized for Spring Uniforms.

If your player wants to continue to develop their game, we also have fall tournament teams for our 5/6 and 7/8 grade divisions.
Girls Programs:
The girls A-team have won the City championships two years in a row and the B-team has advanced to the semi finals each of the last two years.  In the spring, the first season for 3rd/4th grade league, they also advanced to the city semi-finals.  Something special is happening in girls lacrosse in Kingwood...come be a part of it!
Little Sticks: 1st-2nd grade.  The girls will focus on stick skills and fundamentals of the game.  There is no fall league for little sticks. Practices start in early February 2015 and the season lasts until mid-April.  There will be periodic intersquad scrimmages and 1-2 play days vs other area teams.
3rd-4th graders:  Continued development of stick skills.  For the fall, practice starts in early September and the season lasts until Nov 15th. Fall league play consists of practices and 4-5 scrimmages vs other Houston teams. Spring League play consists off 8-10 games vs Houston area teams, 1 end of season tournament, 1 optional out of town tournament.
5th-8th grade:  Two teams are fielded (A&B), allowing the girls to play with and compete against similarly skilled teams around the Houston area.  For the fall, practice starts in early September and the season lasts until the first week of December.  For the fall, each team plays in 5 scrimmages and the burning flower tournament in December. For the 2014 Spring Season, practice starts the second week of January and the Season lasts until the end of April.  Each team will play in approximately 12-14 games and participate in 3-4 tournaments.
